i can install updates for w 7 ultimate, different computer with firewalls active, but not w 7 for W 7 Pro. I disabled firewalls, no help. this installation was on top of Vista. I get error code 80070539 and appys to security updates and Win Defender updates.
This has happened before, I don't remember how I fixed it. Sys. restore does not help.
I'm hopng you can help with a good solution. The update problem applys to Win 7 Pro.
