Foreclosure
Greetings,
OS: RHEL 6.3
Kernel: 2.6.32-279 x64
I can't get atime with ext3 or ext4 filesystems to display correctly. I need actual atime and not relatime. I have to use atime for this mandatory junk client to work properly. I've checked sysctl parameters to no avail.
I've remounted (/home for example) multiple times using strictatime and atime arguments. I check /etc/mtab and it holds rw,strictatime but all access timestamps on files and folders do not update. Only modifications are updating time stamps.
Suggestions?
