Hello,
I have an eMachines T1742 that someone just gave me. The PC won't boot at all. I was told that the power supply was dead. I tested the power supply and it didn't work. So i put another power supply in the computer and the power supply came on but nothing else did and the power light was amber. I also noticed that a few capacitors on the motherboard looked like they leaked but i'm not sure because the inside of the PC was really dirty. How do i know what is wrong with the computer for sure?
