Hardware: Celestron 44300

Lost Scanners and Cameras in Control Panel after 30 days after BSOD and now
the box can't find New Hardware, the camera. SFC no joy. Installed on second
box camera worked okay, but received BSOD after an hour. Did not lose
Scanners and Cameras, but setup an I386 folder in %systemroot% and changed
the registry to run it w/o the CD.
Here is the BSOD:
***STOP: 0x0000001E(0xC0000005,0xBABAA597,0x00000000,0x00000000)
***ADDRESS BABAA597 base at BABAA000, Date Stamp 44863b3b - snp2sxp.sys
Beginning dump of physical memory
Dumping physical memory to disk: 100
Questions:
Main thing is this in the OS or USB specific?
Since a pin drive works fine, but new hardware is not found for the
microscope, would this have effected the USB controllers?
Does this sound like defective hardware?
What to do with snp2sxp.sys? Would replacing the file correct this?
