Hi all first post and believe it or not. After much searching I cant believe
how little information there is available regarding recovering from Windows
Vista Dynamic disk offline invalid state. aside from those money (free trial,
just give us your email & credit card) whores over at experts-exchange.com
ofcorse but thats another rant I'll save for a later date.

The STORY:
I have a very Media hungry family, Every Room has a DLNA compatible player
in it. I recently purchased 4 x 1TB Drives to consolidate the data across
three computers to my Vista Business machine. Figuring 2TB drives will be out
next year and I'll be rebuilding anyway I decided to give Vista Dynamic
Spanned disks a try. And so the 4TB took 2 days to format, and 2 Days top
copy all the MP3's, Movies, to this central location.

Day 5,
I rebooted my computer a couple times to test and on reboot #2 sure enough
the Dynamic Spanned 4TB Array that I had built vanished! After many M$
related explositivities, and in the midst of my preparation for hari kari, it
came to me. GOOGLE IT!

Disks 2,3,4, & 5 are 4 x 1TB Western Digital's

The spanned volume is now stuck in an Offline Invalid status, and any
attempt to Reactivate any of the disks result in the all to familiar
Operation Invalid error.

The Question: (That should be in help, BUT IS NOT!)

How to reactivate a spanned Dynamic VOLUME that is in Offline / Invalid
state.
