I have DVD Shrink installed on XP. It works fine, but when I installed it on
Vista, it wouldn't work it would come up with an error when it started
burnung the DVD.. It still comes up with an error when I use backwards
compatibility. What's up with that?

Hello Jassi

Make sure that you have the latest version of Nero installed on your Vista
PC as DVDShrink uses the nero dll to burn DVD's.

Seems to work on 32 bit Vista, but I had to make an exception for it in
DEP.

I've used DVD Shrink with Nero 7 (!) and, now, Nero 8 on my Vista Business
machine without any problems whatsoever. I also use DVD Decrypter, which
works fine as well.
