Re: dvd/cd created on Vista will not play or be recognized by Wind
Ok...starting with the creation of the cd/dvd...it was done with windows
movie maker on a dell with vista OS...which was then trialed before handing
the photos/and slide show with soundtrack to us, it worked on their computer.
They are now on the other side of the country....
Yes, it was attempted to be played on an HP Pavillion dv4000 with Windows XP
OS AND tried on an 'emachine'...the applications used are trying to open at
'my computer' and getting a message that says, drive not accessable, soooo
trying other ways of going through windows picture and fax viewer, media
player, windows movie maker....we have had some final success with a program
called DVD X Rescue that is actually reading the disk and yes, showing
files...but still unable to access them....also, going through the
'troubleshooting' process with no success....
