DVD Burning Software

Hello All

I am looking for free dvd burning software that could be downloaded. I
currently am using Sonic and I am not satisfied with it. It burns data OK,
but later on when I want to read what I have burned and perform updates the
software doesn't recognize the data. I have Win XP Pro and Media Center
Edition on a Dell laptop.
