Windows 2000 DualCore and Windows 2000

Hello everybody,

I have a question about Windows 2000 and DualCore processors. Is it right,
that Microsoft published a patch, to solve problems with DualCores for Intel
CPUs? My search in the was was not successfull. I find patches for Windows
XP or patches for AMD chips, but nothing for Intel.
If anybody has a info about this, please send me a link or a short
information.

I found nothing Win2k related at either Intel or MS, other than TCP/IP
updates on MS
The Bios is updated?

Yes, the Bios is up to date.
But, not reproducable, we have frozen Windows for sometimes 30 Minutes.
We have no idea, what the problem is. So, I heard about the patch for XP and
DualCore and my idea is, that the DualChor may be the problem.
