Hello,

This is my first time installing Linux.

I downloaded Lubuntu 13.10 32 bit, burned the image to a cd, rebooted, set the BIOS to read it first, installed, and set the BIOS back to reading the HDD first.

I read several tutorials both before, during and after the installation, got a partition at the end of the HDD, 6GB, for swap space, a partition before it, 120GB large, ext4, for Linux, both logical.

After finishing the installation I took the Lubuntu CD out, closed the tray, and rebooted. It went straight to Windows, and has been doing that every time since.

Now, I looked in google, several tutorials and this very forum, and they all say that I'm supposed to be given a choice between the two operating systems if I have both installed (which they call a dual boot), but i'm never given that choice at any point during boot.

Did I do something wrong, or am I missing something?

Please help, and sorry if this isn't the right place to post, please let me know and I'll post somewhere else.
