Have Vista Ultimate and am trying to set one of the dreams as my desktop. I
have downloaded and installed all Ultimate upgrades (Dreamscene plus the
dream packs) as well as the Stardock Deskscapes but I casn't get any of the
installed dreams to work. I get an error message saying "Dream is not
allowed" with no option of fixing it (or clue as to why it's not allowed).
Anyone have a similar problem or a solution?

What types of animated wallpapers are you trying to use. Ones with the
.dream extension?

Also you need to make sure you have the proper codecs installed. You
can find more info about that at dream.wincustomize.com.

Island Dog - am trying to use the wallpapers that came with Dreamscene.
I'[ve made sure I have an MPEG-2 codec installed, but I can't find any other
reason why it won't work. It gives no indication as to what the problem is,
just that the dream is not allowed. Infuriating.

Yeah, that seems to work okay. I've finally given in and bought the full
copy of DeskScapes and given up on the Vista Ultimate Dreamscene. What I
want to work is working well. I'vegiven up on the Vista rubbish. The next
offering from Ultimate had better be worth it!
