Drag and drop not working and not opening a new window in IE 7

My drag and drop function is not working anymore... I tried to fix it in
mouse configuration, in IE tools and so on...
In IE 7 (but not in Mozilla, for instance), the "open in a new window"
function is not working anymore. When I try it I can see for a very quick
while a little window saying "Microsoft Installer is..." but I can't read
more, since it is very quick.

Any suggestion?

Please try the IE7 group for the IE7 part.

The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general

In a proper newsreader:
