Hi all,

I need some help.. I am not sure if its to do with software or hardware. I own a HP ze5185. I am having sound issues. I contacted HP and they told me to install the driver for the Conenext. I did that. I got my little icon on the bottom and when i try to test my sound now it comes up with a DPVSETUP.EXE error about going to the control panel and setting all the stuff up. I did that. I then rebooted and it still says it when i go through the same of setting up the sound test. So if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated because my brain is getting a bit fried  .. Now I am wondering s it software or is it hardware since i went through the steps and still nothing... Helllllp.

dpvsetup.exe stands for Microsoft DirectPlay Voice Test

1. In Control Panel, double-click Sounds and Audio Devices.
2. On the Voice tab, under Voice Playback, click Advanced.
3. On the Performance tab, move the Hardware Acceleration slider at least one position, if not all the way, to the right.

Should fix ya right up, if not, check to make sure you are using the correct drivers.
