Hey
I wonder if there it is possible to download a tryout version or something
of the Windows Server 2003 R2. I've checked at microsoft.com and it looks
like they have removed this option. It is not available in the page showing
the available tryouts...
I just thought it could be a good idea of me to install it on a pc I got at
home, and then set it as domain controller and put some of my other pc as
members in that domain... My boss wants to me to do some network
administration at work, so I thought maybe it could be a good idea to set up
small network at home.. Where I can test different scenarios without
worrying about crashing the entire server farm....
I saw Windows Server 2008 Beta was available (at least it was available some
weeks ago). maybe I could use Windows Server 2008 Beta?? but I would prefer
Windows Server 2003 R2 as we use it at work...
The pc I want to install it on is a 400MHz, 128RAM, 40GB hard drive.. It's a
bit slow, but performance isn't that important in this scenario. what is
important is that I learn from it...
any suggestions?
