Downgrade to Windows 7 Professional from Basic Windows 8

Three of the 4 programs necessary for work WILL NOT run in windows 8. It is not about the new Windows 8 being what I like or don't like. I need to purchase a computer today off the shelf. How do i downgrade to Windows 7 professions from basic windows
8?
