Windows 2000 Documents and Settings folder is hidden

When I "\\" to a workstation on our domain all but one local profile in and
including the "Documents and Settings" folder on the C:\ drive is hidden.
this is a Windows 2000 machine. Anyone know why this may be?

Perhaps because someone hid these folders? Why not
simply unhide them?
