How do I find the DMA buffer size on XP Pro SP2?
How do I change it?
My problem is that I have a Grand AV USB Video
capture box. Accordinng to the installation guide it
can handle PAL DVD 720*576, MPEG II 640*480,
MPEG I 352*288 and Mpeg IV 352*288. The only
thing it can handle is however Mpeg IV 352*288 in
grayscale.
According to the manual it needs a DMA buffer size
of 64 k. I have searched and it seems it is possible to
change the buffer size on Windows 2000 and 2003
Server but of some reason not on XP, I can not even
find its size although somebody said it was 16 k.
Any advice on what to do? Is this a DMA buffer
problem? Thanks for any answer.
