I am able to copy an audio book cd by ripping it then burning it to a cd. I
can play it on my computer just fine but not in my car or a portable cd
player. I had no trouble doing this with my Windows 98 computer but can't
figure out how with Vista. It seems that the cd doesn't get a message to
start. Am I not using the correct parameters when I copy or burn the cd?????

Which software and method was used to burn the audio files to disk? Its
possible it was burnt as MP3 files instead of regular audio files which your
car player can only read.
