I am trying to assign a letter to another internal hard drive on my PC,
however when I try to do so in disk manager, I get the error >>> Logical Disk
Manager, No Such Interface Supported and another error>>> Unable To Connect
To Logical Disk Manager Service. I am running Win XP Pro with SP2 and the
second hard drive is a WD80 GB. Can anyone help me Please.

In diskmgmt,L.click the hd,go to actions,all,select change letter/path,change
the letter. If the letter you want is being used by other device, open device
mgr,
select "disable" restart pc,reopen diskmgmt.msc, the letter is now available.

Hi Andrew, the problem is as soon as I click on diskmgmt the error appears
and I cannot do anything else from there. However when I click on device
manager under disk you can see it there. I just don't know what else to do .
