How does one disable MS Media Center? When I put a movie DVD in the tray I
don't want media center coming up, but a movie viewer of my choice. If this
is not the best newsgroup for this question let me know. Thanks

Add/remove, 'set program access and defaults' set to 'custom'

It is set to custom. Also in "file types" DVD video as well as most of the
video and movie extensions are set to PowerDVD. Despite this Media Center
always opens up first.

Media Player/ Options had a 'filetypes' tab that you may have to uncheck. I
would also remove anything in the 'playlist'
