Hello,

We want to disable the local printers on our Terminal Servers, so
users wont have to remember disabling the settings in their
connections.

I did not find any settings in the terminal-services configuration for
that.
Is this possible at all in TS on Windows 2003 Server.

I hope somebody can help me with that!
Thank you!

Regards,
Uwe

You can disable redirection of client printers in several places:

* in Terminal Services Configuration - Rdp-tcp connection -
properties - Client Settings
Disable the following: Windows printer mapping

* in a Group Policy, which is linked to the OU which contains the
Terminal Server machine account:

Computer Configuration - Administrative templates - Windows
Components - Terminal Services - Client/Server data redirection
"Do not allow client printer redirection"
