Windows 2003 Difference between Windows 2003 and Windows XP Msgina.dll file?

I am trying to customize my Windows 2003 Logon screen however I am using
WIndows XP to put new bmps and string in the WIndows 2003 msgina. Is there a
difference in how they run? How about the contents of each? Is there
anything I should know?
