Windows XP Professional comes with HyperTerminal & Fax programs. I use the PCtel HSP56 MicroModem,
Driver Provider: PCtel, Driver Version: 9.0.20.0 (08/14/2002).
The dial tone is heard through the PC Speakers, while using the modem by the HyperTerminal. But there is no sound at all when sending a fax. I manage the sending but it is not convenient.
Is there something to solve this?
Thank u
Michal

should be a speaker
option for high low or
none somewhere in
the configuration
program of your
fax and modem software.

there are also modem
commands that you
can enter to force certain
modem. they are called
a-t commands like the ones
found here:

http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=modem+at+commands&FORM=MSNH

but you might want
to check your modems
homesite as well.
