Abit UL8 motherboard
ATI x1650 pro AGP
Windows XP pro

After a clean install of windows, device manager thinks there is 8
graphic cards installed which cuases XP to hang on boot. Booting into
safe mode shows 8x ATI x1650 listed in device manager.

I got rid of the problem by reinstalling motherboard agp drivers but
now for no reason after a cold boot the problem is back again.

Thier is a device mgr hotfix,its kb893249
