What's wrong? Don't have enough money for a bus pass?

Visit your computer manufacturer's website, and download/install the
latest Vista drivers for your sound card.

Have you tried downloading and installing the Sigmatel HD Audio Driver from
here (expand "Downloads", under "T5224 Support Information"):

Goto Device manager, and click "uninstrall" on all audio devices listed
there, they should be listed with question/problem marks. I can't beleiev
no audio devices is listed there, it's highly imporbably, bu tit's not
working you say - so you should see a Question mark nesxt to it.
Now right-click and select "uninstall".

Then reboot Vista, if audio device doesn't proceed to automatic driver
installation, goback to Devicemanager and again rightclick on audio devices
and select 'rescan for hardware changes", follow prompts.

If all fails, goto your Audio chipset manufacturer's website, check if
drivers avaiulable - not always, bu tpossible because so,me highend audio
drivers were not incuded with Vista if they came out AFTER Vista shipped, OK
now, install driver by using Devicemanager again but this time select "I
have a disk"-->browse to driver installation folder.

If this all fails, then I have to be there in person which I can't so...
sorry. can't help

Not this year.
We were sold out to Asia, Mexico & other cheaper countries starting with B.
Clinton.

They had good intentions of lowering labour costs, to move out unskilled
labour & replaced with hightech/skillful/high-paying jobs in AMerica.
What a farce, they sold out whole coutnry in the end. Now the only gworth
is at TacoBells & 7/11's (but even 7/11 is controlled by Indians).
We need a new Reagan, not this.... great personality, yet little substance.

So you're right, "no money for a buss pass" may not be literal yet, but it's
getting close to this condition.
I have to get a lot of tools now from Chinese, what's the difference? Go
visit Walmart - all that cheap plastic made fo rpennies with toxic chemicals
and cancerous substances is streaming into here.

Thank yoyu CLinton for starting it with Nafta.

Your posting/writing style also represents part of your work attitude and
quality, which means that your job will be replaced sooner or later.

Job is earned and not an entitlement. It's a free market economy in most
part of the world not a socialism, just in case you didn't notice.

You however don't know what's coming to YOU & your kids.

And average American FYI, is too dumb to work in my field anyways, thank
you, but there's little competition for the kinds of things I can design,
having almost earned a PhD I think I pretty darn have a right to criticize
outsourcing which now encroached not just onto blue collar, but on my "white
collar" class.

This Hawaiian man is selling your kids future into $trillions of debt, while
his predecessor shipped our futures to Asia.
We need a new Reagan, hell we need someone Irish on the hill. My best
bossses have been Irish & German.

Hopefully, it won't be *you*!

> And average American FYI, is too dumb to work in my field anyways

Just because we choose not to mow lawns for a living doesn't mean we're too
dumb to do it. We pay skilled labor, like yourself, to manicure our fields.

> thank you

Anytime. My pleasure.

> but there's little competition for the kinds of things I can design

I agree. Anyone with a *real* education would have no interest in self
lobomoty kits.

> having almost earned a PhD

BWAHAHAHA!!!!! You said "almost"!!! LOOOOOOL!!!!!!
Stop it, moron! You're killin' me!!!!

> I think

I thought we already cleared this up??? You don't!

Bleach will turn even the grimiest of collars white.

Don't pick a fight with an old man.
If he is too old to fight, he'll just kill you.

So you are still at the stage for worshiping certificates and diplomas?

In my environment, I don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one
post-graduate degree, but that doesn't mean anything at all, unless one
doesn't have anything else to show or tell. Is that the reason for you to
mention it?

You do have the "right" to criticize, but it doesn't mean your criticisms
are justified and reasonable, especially based on your logics for being an
double-E engineer (which is like stars in the sky) and once were a PhD
candidate.

I wish you luck and would have a chance to see the real world, and I will
rest my case.
