Is there anyway to disable the desktop icon hover highlight when using the
Aero theme?

Thanks.

The hovering I am talking about is when you move the cursor over it to click
on it.

Yes I know what you're talking about. Why do you want to disable that for?

I don't like it.

Saucer,

It was bugging me, too. I believe that you will find the answer in the
Syntapics Pointing Device preferences. Find mouse preferences in the
Control Panel, or easier yet open the "Syntapics" icon at the lower
right of your screen in the taskbar. Turn of "tap to click." Likely,
that will solve your problem, and you will have a happy day!

Thanks Jeff but I have a desktop. I don't have Syntapics Pointing Device
preferences or a "tap to click" in my mouse preferences.
