I recently had new carpeting put in and my desktop, router and all of it was disconnected. When they "re-connected it, they plugged things in randomly and wrong. I got some things corrected but I still had this message
the wireless connection status box says this problem occurred because the network did not assign a network address to the computer. I then hit the repair button which says it is renewing IP address. It says it could not
finish repairing the problem because the following action can not be completed Renewing your IP address
I have seen other posts with this message and I am sure it is because something is not hooked up correctly and I have no idea how to fix it.
