Desktop and SceenSaver tab missing

Last night I dowloaded a program then I deleted it.

It changed my background to blue with a message saying "Warning!
Spyware detected on your computer! Install a antivirus or spyware
remover to clean your computer".

It wouldnt allow me to change my background and Screen saver because
the tabs were missing.


I tried to remove it by

Start
Run 'regedit'
>HKEY_CURRENT_USER
>Software
>Microsoft
>Windows
>Current Version
>Policies
>System

Then it has NoDispScrSavPage and NoDispBackgroundPage I have then tried
to delete both and set the value to 0 but that didnt work

After I exit, they reappear. I managed to get the Background Page back
but after I restart my computer it goes back to the "Warning" sceen.
The screen saver always changes back, to cockroaches spreading blue ink
over the sceen.

Any help would be appreaciated

Ever run across the term "malware"????

Yea I've run virus scans,etc.

Apparently you've not run enough apps that remove MALWARE.

It may take 3 or more different apps.
 
Download and run this tool called Smitfraudfix
