I replaced hard drive on Dell Dimension 8300. Installed windows XP from disk that came with computer and with Microsoft,s help. When I start the computer I get a screen thhat says "SATA Primary drive 0 not found. Secondary drive 0 not found. Secondary
drive 1 not found. ALERT! OS installed mode enabled. Amount of avaible memory limited to 256 MB. Strike F1 to continue. F2 to run Setup utility. " Then when I strike F1 key the windows starts and computer works. Question is why do I need to strike F1 to get
started.
