Hello, I have an older Dell Dimension 4600 running XP. The harddrive died and I replaced it and then reloaded pack 1 with the intention of getting all the revisions off the internet. The problem is that I cannot now connect to the internet through my broadband
router directly cabled to the computer. It seems the connect wizard only wants to use dial up and will not connect to the router. Just redials. It seems to ignore the broadband router connection and wants to use dial up only.
