Dealt HD0 (C: & D:) Now HD1 (E: & F:) SNAFU

Tecknomage

Someone I'm trying to help just deleted his HD0 partitions and repartitioned
them.

Surprise, surprise, his HD1 with E: & F: is now SNAFU.

I've never ran into this before (in 20+ yrs); caused by loss of original
Partition Table correct?

How does he get his Partition Table corrected? If possible.

WinXP SP2 by the way.

Your phrase "HD1 with E: & F: is now SNAFU" sounds cute
but tells us next to nothing about your actual problem. Please
supply full details - the more the better!

How do you "repartition" a partition?

Is HD0 representative a physical hard drive?

Sounds like two operations occurred, not 1 as you imply.

list of acronyms (SNAFU=Cannot see partitions and

If a "drive letter" E: is visible in windows explorer, it is a partition.

His HD1 should have E: & F:, not just E:, and had data. When he
deleted & repartitioned his HD0 (C: & D:) he lost the ordinal
Partition Table.
