Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista (KB950126) 10/06/08

I keep getting an error code of 8007371B when trying to download this update
anyone able to help

Thank You
Quiksilver

Vista Ultimate or Home Premium? Is Vista SP1 already installed?

Is Windows Update offering the machine KB950126 or are you attempting to
install it manually?

Re: Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista (KB950126

No

I have had no end of problems with sp1 install with error code 80070002 and
8024200D. Spent 3 weeks emailing ms (the link you guys keep posting for sp1
help) only to be told they could not sort it and to pay to upgrade to
ultimate to fix it.

You can guess what my reply to that is........

So any more ideas on the kb950126 update ( please don't say get sp1 )

Yours not very happy with vista

Quiksilver

Ps thanks for your help so far!!!

Re: Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista (KB950126

I would not recommend attempting to install Vista SP1 until and unless it's
offered by Windows Update!

Did you upgrade the machine from WinXP MCE to Vista Home Premium?

You might try downloading the update (SAVE it to your, e.g., desktop) then
attempting to install if manually:
