Dear All,
this morning I awoke to find my system taken over. I am running Windows 7. At Start Up, a pop will take me to the following website <Removed by FM> asking for money to decrypt my files and documents $500!
All my Documents, Files and Photos have been encrypted including all emails dating back to over a year ago (Windows Live Mail).
Another file download pop up constantly appears as follows- Name: bk-coretag-js Type: Jscript File From: tags-bkrtx.com
On my desktop, I have 3 shortcuts DECRYPT_INSTRUCTION.HTML DECRYPT_INSTRUCTION.TXT DECRYPT_INSTRUCTION.URL
From what I can understand, I may not be able to save my douments and ll the other stuff I have as I do not have any back up, if there is any other way and how to get rid of this nasty nasty virus, any advice or help is very much appreciated. Thank you in advance
