Important Details: External users for my company work in a Terminal Server environment using Windows XP SP3 on servers running Windows Server 2003 R2
Problem: The max. profile size a user can have is 40MB and the data being stored in the CryptURLCache\Content folder can at times exceed 25MB - is there a way to remove these files and ensure they will not be recreated? In general the files are very small, averaging about 5kb in size however some are created and use up more than half of our users profile size causing logon issues and profile problems. Every time I delete the files they recreate when the user logs back into the terminal server.
I am aware of what these files are and their purpose after reading this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887196 - however this does not change the fact that they are using a ridiculous amount of profile space in order to store certificates which is causing many issues for the end user.
Is anyone aware of a way to prevent these files from being recreated after deletion?
