Hi,
My laptop developed a major issue yesterday which resulted in my husband having to spend around 6-7 hours repairing the installation.
I now want to create a back up to prevent us ever having to go through the same ordeal again but need some advice, please.
I'm running XP home edition so the back up wizard isn't installed as standard. I understand that I can use my installation disc to install it manually. However, my installation disc only contains service pack 2. My laptop has service pack 3 installed (installing this alone took over an hour and a half last night). I'm concerned that, if I try to install the backup wizard from my SP2 disc, it might mess up the SP3 installation. Can anyone help, please? Thank you
