hey i have a tablet pc with windows Xp tablet pc edition 2005 and yesterday
my sister put my computer into hibernate while she was listening to music
using windows media player 11. i tried reinstalling media player 11 and that
didnt work i also rolled back to media player 10 but every time i use it my
computer just crases and restarts the disk check dosnt work either i also
tried reinstalling my anti virus.

This is the message i get when it says windows recoverd from a critical error:

This is likely caused by hardware malfunctioning or bad driver.
Try to look in the Device Manager for the CD/DVD-ROM and see if it
malfunctioning or a Bad RAM, also USB storage.
You may have a bad RAM try to test your RAM by running Memtest by
downloading this tool and unzip it and make a floppy or CD/DVD and run it on
Reboot.

You may need to reposition/reset the RAM sticks in their slots.
Scan your computer fro malware and Viruses by whatever software you have.

Alex, try a System Restore to a point before your sister listened to music
on WMP11. Go to Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System
Restore. Just follow the instructions. You don't have to go back very far.
Just a few days.
