Crash At Seemingly Random Intervals

I'm pretty new to servers but have a fair understanding of windows, I have an old desktop that I installed this on a few days ago. At random intervals of use (anywhere from hours to 5 minutes) the server becomes completely unresponsive and the screen appears as shown in the attached file. It seems to happen more often while trying to download and install windows updates but that way just be a coincidence.
System:
Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 X64
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
NVidia GeForce 6100-M9
2GB OCZ Memory
Seagate 1TB ST310005

I have updated the mainboard drivers and am attempting to get completely up to date with windows updates, but the going is slow given the number of crashes.
I would be very grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks

Hi there,

It looks like a GPU issue. Not a driver problem, but the hardware itself.

Try to change it.

If you don't have another one, use PCMark or SiSoft Sandra to test all your components. This screen looks like when the GPU's ram is too hot or faulty.

Let me know.

Sorry for the long delay, I've just started an internship and haven't had much time for personal projects. This computer used to be my main desktop before the pci-e slot and the graphics card in it both burned out, so there's no way to try another gpu. I ran PCMark and it didn't seem to irritate the problem any further, so overheating probably isn't the issue. Is there a way to run a mem-test on the gpu memory, to see if there are any bad sectors?

Thanks

You can't test only the gpu's RAM.

Anyway, my last advice is to buy a new mobo (you can find it for less than 50$). For me, this is an HW problem.
