CPU Usage Graph in Task Manager

There seems to be a bug (or at least an inconsistency) in Windows Task
Manager: the CPU Usage History graph always starts with a spurious zero point
whereas the Page File Usage History graph correctly starts with a valid data
point.

Clearly it's not a major problem but it would be good to get it fixed in
some future release. However, I can't find a way of submitting a
fault/comment report to Microsoft (the closest I can find is to contact a
support professional, and I don't feel inclined to pay for the privilege of
providing an improvement suggestion).

Can anyone help?

I can't imagine that Microsoft would be interested in fixing such a
minor bug in what is now an 'old' (ir not their current) operating
system.

You just wake up from a long sleep, Rip van Winkle??

XP is about to be taken OFF THE SHELVES... that means at the end of
this month IT WON'T BE SOLD ANY MORE.

Translation: there won't BE any "future release".

u is beyond help anyone that wants to asssist micro without pay has gotta have a few screws
loose.

oils.... slipperly when whet.

Microsoft will argue it is not a bug. The logging works as intended. The
CPU was not being monitored previously. It does not start at zero. It
starts with the first % usage!

Hope this helps.
