Have Windows XP Corp SP2 and all updates with IE7 and updates
My TIP folders are constantly changed to the C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp folder when they should be
in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\ only
I change it with the control panel applet for IE and after restarting
it changes back to the wrong folder
I have scanned the registry and found no evidence of it to change to
the temp folder location and all other things show it should still be
in the proper user main folder but it constantly changes back to the
temp wrong folder .... I don't get it.
I use a chat program called QQ (for Chinese users) and thought it was
the source, but I no longer believe so.
This system is fresh and scanned for malware/viruses, etc ...
Any suggestions on why it's being changed to this other folder location
? How to make it do what it's supposed to do ?? It's simply changing
on its own and I find no reason that the computer decides to move it to
a new location without my permission ............
Help ?
