I am having problems connecting to certain websites. I have tried using
Explorer and Firefox and both say can't display. I know these sites are up
and working. I talked to my internet provider and they checked and there are
no issues with connection. They were able to connect to the websites I
cannot connect to. The tech told me that it probably is an OS problem and
that there is a file that is preventing my access to these sites.
Can anyone help me?

Tools menu has a 'delete browser history' item. You don't mention trying
anything.
