So basically I got a digital piano connected up to my computer for the purpose of recording, which all works fine as far as recording goes, but I'm getting no audio playback as I'm recording, so I can't hear myself playing.
It's connected with a stereo cable from the headphones line on the piano to the mic inthe on computer (these are my only options for connection).
I'm doing this based on a guide meant for windows, which has a section on this very problem; it goes on to say that some digital pianos will shut off their speakers when the headphones in is being used, like in my case, and to set it up to have the audio playback through the computer by - enabling the mic in for playback via the volume control panel.
I just can't find any settings for this, I've fiddled around with the sound settings and have been unable to get it working. I don't really know what I'm doing, and am hoping someone here can point me in the right direction. Thank you.
