I have had a problem with my computer for a while now. When I played video games or anything like that, my computer would occasionally freeze and I'd have to hold down the power button just to turn it off and on again. In the past month or so, my computer has been showing that I have no disk space left on my C drive. It will linger around 150 MB to 250 MB or so. I started uninstalling programs and games. It still says I have no disk space. I literally uninstalled every game except one and there wasn't any change. I just now uninstalled a program that was about 180 MB. Under properties on my C drive it said I gained about 180 MB. But then when I closed it and opened it back up in went down to 150 MB when it was in the 500 range previously. I do disk cleanups all the time and they hardly free up more than a MB. How do I fix this problem? My computer is becoming more and more useless by the day.

I would start by reducing the percentage of space that System Restore is taking up.

Open your System by clicking the Start button

, right-clicking Computer, and then selecting Properties.

In the left pane, click System protection.

Under Protection Settings, click the disk, and then click Configure.
Under Disk Space Usage, move the slider to the left to increase the disk space that system protection can use.
Click Apply and OK. See screenshot below....
