SP2 plus the 80+ post-sp2 patches would be better to say. ;-)
You never said what you mean by "cannot RDP into it"...
Does it not even connect and give you some specific message?
Does it connect and not allow you to logon, gibving you some specific
message?
Are you on the same network as it?
Is there a router involved?
Are the firewall settings set to allow Remote Desktop?
"Pinging" a machine proves ver little these days. Proves *something* is
answering an echo request - but gives very little other information. Just
because you can ping something means little to the other protocols and ports
that it might/might not be utilizing. ;-)
