Win 2k machine.

Unusual quirk, every Sunday morning at 8AM the computer automatically
reboots itself.

I have looked everywhere in the Control Panel and cannot find a setting that
causes this. Is there somewhere else I can/should be looking??

Automatic Updates should not cause this, right?

Hi:

You can review the following:

1.Check if you have any scheduled task that coincide with that time and
date.
2.Check that the windows update it is not configured to install and reboot
your machine.
3.Check if you have an antivirus that is doing any scan at that time.
4. Check the system and applications events, before and after the reboot.

Let us know.

Look in the Event Log to see if anything is recorded at the same time.
