Hi all,
I reinstalled Windows 8 on one of my Acer laptop, which came with OEM Windows 8. Because the BIOS Embedded Key, installation never asked for a key. After I installed wireless network driver, the machine is connected to the internet and windows get activated immediately. However, the system alerted me "You are about to be signed off in 30 seconds" shortly after and restarted itself.
I assume it was because the limitation of inactivated windows (when I first signed in, I haven't get Windows activated due to no internet), so I let it restart and continue to play with it. But the restart thing won't go away.
One thing is that when the system first rebooted itself, no major update or installation is taking place, so I assume nothing harmful is done.
Any one encountered such problem and how to fix?
Thanks
