cdirectorychangewatcherhelper will not end on its own on a shutdown and I
have to manually exit it. This is annoying. What can I do to get rid of this
problem? Thanks.

Hi timc101,

cdirectorychangewatcherhelper is related to Nero Scout, part of Nero7. See
if the information here helps you to solve the problem:

Hi, Patti - According to the Google search I gave the OP, it can also be
related to Symantec, Kaspersky, Outpost, and other programs. I didn't
get a link for Nero Scout but I can't say I'm surprised. So that's why I
gave the OP the search - because we just don't know what product(s) he's
running.
