I have tried installing this a countless number of times now and have never succeeded.
I have followed instructions from other peoples' posts and answers on these forums and have never had any luck.
I'd hate to resort to wiping my entire computer just for this stupid update but it isn't looking too good.
If you need any info don't hesitate to ask. The sooner this gets resolved the better!
