Had to "refresh" not restore and my computer lost most extra applications. Guess the data is still here but in some applications too fragmented to use. I hardly keep anything on my computer nowadays so... However the audio speakers won't stop muting themselves and I cannot use my earphones or a junky speaker to listen to audiobooks I had downloaded. Had to reload the audiobooks but now they are faint. This is a question actually. Will msn ever install windows7 on a windows 8 computer for a consumer? The windows8 updates kept disconnecting me from my dsl and hence I had to "restore" my computer 4 times prior to having to use the TERRIFIC refresh option. Never want another update but would like to use my speaker and earphones. Thanks for any input.
