I just connected another HDD. BIOS says its on ATA secondary and the
devicemanager says its on H:. My problem is that I can't find that volume.
It's not listed in my computer. I run XP servicepack 2. Any ideas?

Can you download XP's startup discs on floppies and format the new drive or
use your XP CD?
or load the driver for the new disc in your current OS and us Disk
Management...make sure the service is enabled in services.

You will need to go to disk management and partition & format the drive. It
should then appear in my computer.

Right click on my computer and select manage, then select disk management.
