cant DownLoad, help plz

i could use some help. i can't download anything. i disabled free download manager.
i'm trying to get bittorrent installed.
i think i erased run.dll

is there some settings i need to change?
i'm running ms home xp..

Go to the top of Internet Explorer, click the TOOLS drop down menu, then click "INTERNET OPTIONS" at the bottom, In the box that pops up, goto the advanced tab on the end, and simply click RESTORE DEFAULTS, then click OK. Close internet explorer, then try downloading again, should be A-OK after that.

This is a general fix for that common problem, I will not guarentee it is the same case, you might just have a download manager that is preventing it since its disabled like you said. I am not familiar with the program you are using.

Bit torrent should only download the .torrent type files and nothing else, so that shouldn't be a factor. But as for torrents, free advice, use BitLord or Bit Comet instead, but then, thats just my personal favorites.
